With everything there is to do in Chicago, where do you start? The New York Times “36 Hours” column about Chicago*, of course! The first stop is the Loop, or downtown Chicago, and moves on to the Magnificent Mile, architectural tours, beer, and ends with books in Hyde Park.

Insider Tip: If the description of the restaurant Orange intrigues you (stop #4), don’t go all the way to Lakeview, go to the second location in Printer’s Row, just 1.5 miles from the Hyatt. An Orange favorite the description left out–pancake flights!
