Making Conference Roommate Connections
Posted by LAC Publicity Subcommittee under Hotel
Hotel accommodations are a significant expense associated with attending the MLA Annual Meeting. Sharing a room with a colleague can make the meeting more affordable, and sometimes even more fun.
Do you have a room reservation at the Hyatt or Hotel Orrington that you’re willing to share? Are you looking for another like-minded librarian to share with?
There are many ways to find a roommate. Seek out local colleagues who are also traveling to Chicago. Post a request to MEDLIB-L or another medical librarian list-serv. In response to your requests, the Local Assistance Committee also invites you to use the comments feature on the MLA ‘08 blog. Leave a comment/reply to this post with your information, and check back often for potential connections.
