Are you “attending” the One Health e-conference? Curious for next time? I am your official e-conference blogger! Read on to learn how I found the e-conference experience.
Last week I was planning my conference sessions, prepared for a busy weekend of conference action, armed with my trusty One Health Official Program, my iPad, and my earbuds. Then I realized that I wouldn’t be able to listen to any of the conference proceedings until May 6! Oops. Actually, plenary sessions will be made available 24 hours after they occur, and video sessions of other programs will be online within four days. So it looks like I will be blogging long after the conference has ended.
The good news is I (and you) get to listen to the plenary sessions tomorrow, May 6. The welcome session and Presidential Address from 9 am this morning and the John P. McGovern Award Lecturer, Richard Besser, can both be heard tomorrow. Other session programs and the accompanying videos will be online May 11. I have a busy week ahead!
In the meantime, I will be checking out the MLA ’13 Annual Meeting ePoster Gallery to peruse all the terrific posters I won’t get to see in person at Boston. According to the site, I can bookmark my favorites, email questions or comments to the authors, and attach notes.
Check out the e-conference proceedings here: http://www.eventscribe.com/2013/MLA-audio/login.asp. Don’t forget you need your six-digit badge number to log in.
I hope you all enjoy Boston. For those of you attending the e-conference with me, I hope you will tune in later this week.
